A well-built ecosystem pond does most of its own cleaning, but every pond benefits from seasonal care: filter service, water checks, and a hand keeping everything running. A full spring drain-and-clean, fish out, scrub, refill, fish back, is a separate job, quoted on its own. On a large pond that can be one or two days. We maintain the ponds we build, and we're glad to take on ponds other companies built, too.

When the water still looks wrong

Green or pea-soup water, string algae on the rocks, murky after a cleanout, the pump running but the pond still dirty, or a pond you inherited that someone else built. Those are the calls we take. Sandhills heat, pine needles, and clay all load a system that was never sized as a true ecosystem pond. UV can help green water in the right pond; it is optional and not in the regular price, and it will not fix a system that is simply wrong.

What we handle

• Seasonal visits: drop-in care $170, or membership: Essential $700, Signature $900, Oasis $2,040 (see Care Membership)
• Full drain-and-clean quoted separately (large ponds can be 1–2 days)
• Filter and pump service; UV only if the pond has one or truly needs it as an add-on
• Water clarity and health checks after heat, needles, and clay runoff
• Seasonal tune-ups and one-time rescues of inherited ponds
